cellularly impaired no more!

Haah. My cellphone, which I unfortunately lost last week, has finally been replaced by the insurance.

I had a Kyocera Smartphone which I've been using for about 4 1/2 years now, which is a EON in cellphone terms. Since the thing is so old, the insurance company insisted on replacing it with a refurb phone.

I toldthem I've had bad luck with refurbs; they didn't have a choice. So, off it went, and when I activated it, it didn't work. No microphone at all, the Verizon techdude couldn't hear me at all.

I called the insurance, they belted off another phone. I never even tried to activate it, it was so bad it wouldn't even boot the PDA aide of he phone.

I called Verizon, who called the insurance *for* me. Verizon insisted I be given a non-refurb phone, and the only non-refurb phone they had that was comparable was the Treo 600. I certainly wasn't complaining about getting one of those.

It just arrived in the mail. It is *so* kewl compared to my old Kyocera. I'm just jazzed as hell about this. Makes it less of a pain to have to buy all new accessories...

So, if you've been trying to get a hold of me, I'll wade through the voicemails as soon as I can...
