Cone of Silence would be awesome, Chief! (you know, provided it actually worked) :D
Ah, SF Bay traffic. I remember it well. *shudder* Unfortunately, Chicago traffic isn't any better. (Used to live in San Bruno, just south of "The City".)
Pixar is indeed awesome. You should see it from the inside.
Yeah, I don't know what's up with the BART screech. I remember it not being so bad unless somebody opened the doors between cars, but now it's terrible. I don't even bother listening to my iPod in the transbay tube because I'd have to crank it all the way up just to hear anything. I think it may be that the trains are just old and whatever acoustic buffering they once had wore out long ago.
Hmmm, I should figure out how to get a tour of Pixar. I've heard it's amazing, and I'm only working about 2 blocks away... (LeapFrog is at 64th and Hollis)
When I went to college, I had a class in which a guy that had done a postmortem and some post-design engineering on BART got up and talked about engineering decisions that had been made when BART was designed and built.
He started the talk with "I won't ride the thing." It went downhill from there, fast.
