1- Name Dillon Rhys
2- Age Seventeen
3- Location New Zealand
4- Are you in a relationship? If so, post a picture. No.
5- How did you find allpersonality? effingawesome
6- If accepted, will you be active? Surely
7- Tell us about you in a paragraph or more. I tend to describe myself in single words, like eccentric, egocentric, arrogant, flamboyant, opportunistic, idealistic, opinionated, antisocial, queer, elitist, haughty, music-snob - and then tell you that those are my good traits. I don't think any one person can fully and completely know another, and I don't think there are enough words to describe oneself to another person. I am all of the aforementioned things, but there's always going to be more to me than just words. Like that I generally tend to be optimistic and am constantly in awe of the beauty of the world, or that I (apparently) have a manic sort of energy that makes me seem hyperactive or intense no matter what mood I'm in, or that I'm terrible at making new friends because people usually think I'm weird, shy, insane, an arrogant git or all of the above and then some. I don't know exactly what to tell you, but there's a bit of insight into my person for you.
8- List some music you enjoy listening to. Tilly and the Wall, Stars, The Clash, The Boy Least Likely To, Broken Social Scene, New York Dolls, Rilo Kiley, David Bowie, Desaparecidos, Elliott Smith, Her Space Holiday, The Ramones, Kings of Convenience, Les Savy Fav, Sex Pistols, Lou Reed, Madonna, Cream, Pavement, Violent Femmes, Sufjan Stevens, Metric, Rufus Wainwright.
9- List some movies you enjoy watching. Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Italian Job, Gone in Sixty Seconds, Boys Don't Cry, Nightmare Before Christmas, Fast and the Furious, Before Night Falls, HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban/Goblet of Fire, Donnie Darko, The Island, Velvet Goldmine, Interview with a Vampire, Labyrinth.
10- List some books you enjoy reading. Without You by Anthony Rapp, The Funny Thing Is... by Ellen DeGeneres, The DiVinci Code by Dan Brown, the Artemis Fowl series, HP, anything by Stephen King or Isaac Asimov.
11- State your opinion on the following topics:
Abortion
I'm pro-choice. I don't believe anybody has any sort of right or priveledge of dictating a woman's decisions, especially when it comes to her own body. I don't think it should be illegalized, because logically that law would lead to (more) dangerous back-alley abortions, women would be more susceptable to death or injuring themselves in an effort to rid themselves of an unwanted child, or said unwanted child would be passed off into the adoption system, where already so many children are bounced around from foster home to foster home, growing up without a stable enviroment and adults who care for them unconditionally and are then turned out into the world without a lot of skills and socializing that they need.

Anorexia
It's probably considered the most common eating disorder, and I'm sure it's probably more common than bulimia, but what most people skim over is the fact that eating disorders also include compulsive/emotional eating/obesity, which is even more common than anorexia. People generally assume to place blame on society and the media and things that we're exposed to daily through the media, the societal expectations of image heaped on everybody's shoulders. People also tend to ignore that while females are more prone to developing an eating disorder, males are almost equally at risk of developing one. I think for most ED-sufferers it starts off as a conscious choice, maybe it seems like the easiest, quickest way to lose weight, maybe it just seems like a good idea, maybe your friends are doing it, your favourite celebrity, whatever. It's incredibly, incredibly easy to be sucked into the whirlwind of the shallow, image-conscious media society. But ED's develop quickly from a conscious choice to a mental/emotional/physical diagnosed disorder, where your self-image becomes warped and you can no longer see the reality of things clearly. I think there are probably a million things that can contribute to ED's, and I also don't think you can list symptoms and apply them to every person with an ED, because every person is individually unique.

Gay Marriage
Pro-, pro-, pro-! I'm all for queer marriage. Being gay myself, but not ever intending to get married (but hey, things can change at the drop of a dime, right), I would prefer to have the option open to me, to my friends and my family and my aquaintances who are and have been treated as inferiors simply because they don't conform to heterosexuality, which is considered "normal" (it's not, just common, but common becomes by default the social norm until somebody with a spine challenges and changes that norm). People all over the world preach equality, anti-homophobia, anti-racism, anti-sexism, but our parents, our parents' parents, have raised each new generation with an underlying, subconcious prejudice of some kind or another, and that needs to be changed. To be denied the same legal rights as the heterosexual population is completely unfair - and yes, I'm aware that "life's unfair", but there are some things you deal with and move on, this is not one of those things.

Premartial Sex
The concept of "no sex before marriage" is based around a religious belief, and I'm not religious. I think if somebody wants to practice this concept then congrats and good luck to you, but I really have no opinion of value on this subject. I think you should have sex when you feel ready to (but not until you're of fecking age, I mean, come on, twelve years olds rutting it is just a little bizzare...), and in the end that decision is entirely up to you.

Drugs
I hate them. Intensely loathe them. They're just a form of escapism, and people who take them are running from being grounded to reality and from their lives. I know everybody is likely to dabble here and there, experimentation is normal and expected of human curiosity. But I hate them. I wouldn't do them if you offered me a bajillion dollars and a trip to Jupiter. They only fuck up your life, and it's a long way to climb when you hit the bottom.

Alcohol
It can be used as a form of escapism, just like any other drug. But it's also a social thing. I don't drink, and when I did drink, I would drink to get drunk, which is how a lot of people are drinking these days and it's definitely not good for any of us. I mean, what's so cool about vomiting, waking up with a killer headache and not remember zip from the night/whatever before?

Straight Edge
Congrats to anyone and everyone who is straight edge (and not faux-sxe, truly straight edge), you have my admiration. I don't drink, and I don't do 'drugs', but I do smoke cigarettes and I can't live without coffee, so sadly I'll never be straight edge. I love the concept of enjoying life without the need for mind-altering substances.

Religion
I'm not a religious person. At all. In fact, I believe religion is rather a big, fat joke. I'm only seventeen, I don't know for sure what I believe at this point, but right now I don't believe there's a god, and I don't believe much of anything about death and the afterworld or whatever. I think religion is something people grasp onto to give them hope so that they can ignore the fear that most people feel about dying. I think religion gives them a set of rules and morals to live within that make them feel better (or worse) about themselves. I think religion is a delusion. But again, these are my own personal opinions. I think if somebody chooses to be religious and to believe in something higher than themselves, then fabulous, I won't argue with you or tell you that you're wrong. I also don't think religion (Christianity, in particular) should have any bearing whatsoever over legalities and law making. Religion and Government should be kept completely and totally seperate (the argument against same-sex marriage is based around religion [Christianity], but not everybody is Christian, and not everybody is heterosexual. Humanity is a diverse muddle of differences).

12- What do you do in your spare time? Read, write, blog, hang out with friends, listen to music, go to shows, take photographs, watch movies, sleep, blahblahblah, pretty much what most other teenagers do.
13- Do you have any pets? If so, post some pictures.

17- What's one thing in this world you want to change? The entire education system, especially in America. That would be the first thing, there are about a million other things I'd like to change but education is probably the most important thing overall.
18- Is there anything you want to change about yourself? A few things, but I'm not about to admit I have flaws.
19- What's your favorite trait about yourself? I'm fabulous, what's not to like? Hm, but I would probably pick my perspective of the world as my favourite trait, even if it has it's downsides.
