(no subject)
ok, then. went to the arctic monkeys concert in columbus about two weeks ago. that was a blasty blast.
mark went home for a weekend and when he came back he told me he wasn't over his ex. oh well. c'est la vie. it happens. i really don't care. it's pretty easy to get over someone who talks to their ex like fifty bajillion times a day. we talked about it, and realized that we really didn't get along as well as well...I originally thought. it happens. i'm over it. it's whatever.
soccer season's almost over. one more home game, one more away. it all ends on sunday then who knows what i'm gonna do with all my free time. hopefully get more work done during the day, and sleep at night. i swear i'm turning nocturnal. some nights i don't get to sleep til 4 or 5 and then have to wake up by 7:30 for an 8am class.
went up to the detroit area last weekend and just hung out with alena, micah [my suitemates] and ashley [soccer teammate...kinda]. varsity had a game about 10 minutes away from alena's house, so alena, micah and i went up there friday night after practice and went to alena's friend's house and hung out there for a while, then on saturday after the games [women's and men's], that night, al and ashli invited the four of us to go clubbing. definitely not my kinda thing. wasn't a huge fan of it in europe, either, probably should've figured that i wouldn't like it here, either. next time, if they do wanna go, i'll probably just text kevin and ask him to pick me up and hang out with him for a while, if he's up there, too...
overall, it was nice to get away from campus. it was the first time i'd been off campus for more than one night since i got here. [i went to ohio on an overnight trip back in august]. so it was really nice to get a non-campus, non-restaurant meal for breakfast and dinner. =) and i went to noodles & co. for the first time. amy [my sister] used to work at one, but i'd never been there. it's yummy. haha.
so...65 days til christmas break. going to washington. gonna see people. mollie, most likely. marcus, definitely. i just can't wait to visit people and see family that i haven't seen in since amy's wedding two years ago. well, that summer, anyway. i talk to nick on skype every now and then. well, more like everyday. haha. mom and dad need to get on skype more often. i miss them. i miss dad's cooking and mom's ...well, i just miss mum. they're going to malta for thanksgiving. i'm jealous. but i getta see maddie and mike over that weekend. i'm excited. =) i hope that all works out.
i'm actually more excited for xmas. hence the countdown. haha. i'm so stoked to see marcus, it's not even funny. sure, family, awesome. mollie...hella excited, too. but marcus...dude...that kid. i swear. i don't even know. i've wanted to hang out with him since june. him and his guilty conscience. i swear.
