I'm almost done with my dissertation! Which is good, since it's due Wednesday. It's so weird to be finishing my school year when so many of my friends are starting theirs this week. Yay for grad school in London

things are going ok -- I'm finishing up my internship and am looking for work. Just moved into a new apartment in VA. My hands are so sore from cleaning and painting! Haha, I'm such an old lady now. What are your plans for the forseeable future?

Sorry it took me so long to get back to this! Things have been a bit crazy for me the last week. I'm headed back to Seattle for now. I've got jury duty next week, which I am not super excited about but should be at least moderately interesting. And then I am going to sort out my life, which will include finally getting my driver's license and getting a job, or at least some volunteer/internship thing to keep me busy through Christmas at which point I hope to have made a decision about East coast vs. West coast. I'm more and more finding that I don't want to go back to Seattle, which has kind of surprised me since I always thought I'd end up back there.

Sounds like things are going well! Where are you in VA?

We're living near Vienna. What kinds of work are you looking at on the East coast?

I felt similarly about Seattle... I always thought that I would end up there or at least spend a chunk of my adult life there, but now that looks like it's not likely to ever happen. But there are so many other places in the world equally as awesome, so why not, right?
