Christmas....duh...
So I would just like to wish all of you, my wonderful friends, a very merry Christmas!
My step-mom actually came and woke up me and my little bro(he was sleepin in my room so he wouldn't wake up and catch "santa" putting out his presents) at eight in the mornin. It was so much fun watching his face when he walked out into the living room and saw all the presents under the tree. He was all wide-eyed and excited.
I think his favorite present was his 4-wheeler. Yes, the boy is spoiled to death, but hey, he's only four and so freakin adorable how can you help but spoil him?
Anywho, I also wanted to take a moment to acknowledge someone's birthday. Not mine, although that is in three days [gifts can be delivered to my home or when we get back to school ;)]but the birth of Jesus. Happy Birthday!!
To think that God would trust his son to our world so that He could grow up and give us the most wonderful gift we could ever receive. Eternal life in a place where there will be no more suffering, but happiness and fellowship with a God who loves us more then anything.
I mean, do you know anyone else who would go through the pain of dying by crucifixion because they loved you so much they didn't want you to have to go through worse? Do you know anyone else besides maybe your family who will love you unconditionally forever simply because you are you? I mean you don't even have to love him back...that's the meaning of unconditional... there is nothing you can do to make Him stop loving you.
Just knowing that I can come to God with everything and receive peace of mind and heart when going through my worst times is one of the greatest gifts I've ever received (besides of course my new shoes ;)). So thank you, dear God.
