So I was browsing the web the other day and learned about this genre called steampunk. It's basically fiction set in a specific historical time period, but the people of that time have developed certain technologies that weren't actually around. Examples being HG Wells' The Time Machine or League of Extraordinary Gentleman.
What I'm most in awe of is just the things that people have come up with that flow with this style outside of the works of fiction. Check this stuff out:
