I just finished the last Harry Potter.
Wow.
It's taken me a couple weeks to read just cause it seemed like I never had the time to just sit down and do it, but today I unexpectedly had a few hours free time so I stopped at Starbucks....got a Blueberry Creme thing at the insistence of Sarah Tuttle(it really was quite good)...and sat in the corner reading for like a hour and a half. Really really great read.
You really gotta cherish those times when you have absolutely nothing that needs doing...especially since I've been crazy busy these past few months, I've needed every brief hiatus I could get.
Drove down to Corpus last week to visit my best friend. That was nice. I didn't even mind the 3 hour drive really because it gave me a chance just to be by myself and think.
There are so many things to think about. I'm leaving August 17. I'll be in Garden Valley, Texas...bit north of Tyler...at the
Honor Academy. I'll be back in Hutto every now and then to visit my family of course, but I'm not taking my car as far as I know so those visits will be few and far between. I'm looking forward to the change in scenery as well as to the future. I feel so many great things ahead of me and although the way there isn't going to be along the smoothest of paths, I'm looking forward to the challenges along the way.
I have a few worries, but I'm resolved not to let myself fall into regret or dwell on how things could be different. Things are how they are, I've made choices and whether or not they were right, wrong, good or bad...it matters not now. I'm alive and I'm going to continue living my life as best I can enjoying the ups and downs and sideways, the happiness and the heartache, the love.
