I graduate in 2014. That's next year! Holy balls. I'm already researching Master's programs. UMass Boston offers an online MA in Linguistics degree. Does that sound right up my alley or what?! Another option would be to jump directly from my BA to a Doctorate degree. But I'm not sure I want to spend that many more years in school. I think I want to suss out whether or not I'd enjoy teaching as a potential career down the road before I invest in a graduate degree. I love working for the government, and they make it hard to want to leave. My job is fun, and I love the enjoyment that comes from what I do. BUT...what if I love teaching? I think I should really try it. Bah. Why can't I do both? And I love graphic design, too. Shitballs.
Luckily, I have many teacher friends here in ABQ. They all teach elementary grades, but I bet I could audit a class and get a feel for it? The thought of writing a dossier makes my stomach do little flips. Eeep!
