[You may notice that Cagalli does not seem very much like herself at the moment. She's moping about with her head down, and there are rings around her eyes as though she barely slept. Her greetings are halfhearted and she doesn't want to hold any long conversations

Lately I've just... seen so many terrible things...

Yeah... even our stopping of the war was bittersweet. And now what with whats been happening with the A-Laws and everything. It's just one thing after another.

And that's not including all the Angels and stuff that keep attacking us for seemingly no reason.

Angels... you should feel lucky that you didn't have to see what happened to Toji and Shinji.

Or Shiro or... but I guess you've seen some pretty nasty things too, huh?

*Kira pulls Cagalli onto a hug.*

Yeah, but we all got through it. And we'll get through this too. Shinji's a lot stronger than people give him credit for. I don't know Toji but he seems to be handling what happened better than most.

And Shiro well... We'll figure out something.

*She kind of... squeaks in surprise before returning the hug loosely.*

Yeah, Toji... I've been hanging out with him and he seems like he'll be fine. And Shinji's already gone through so much and come out alright, but... Shiro...

I had to sit there and... watch him lose it like that. That's not all that happened there either.

Black monster things right? Sho told me about them. I don't really know what to say, I have gotten used to things like that really.

But I didn't see them so I don't really know anything other than vague descriptions. All of which continue to get more vague the more I learn about them.

Well... we all saw things we feared, I guess... I... saw flames when it attacked and didn't really get it at the time but...

But the night after that I had this... nightmare...

*She pauses, taking a deep breath.*

I saw... I saw him... b-burning...

*She stops again, tears welling up in her eyes.*

*Kira hugs Cagalli tighter.*

Just let it out. It's okay to cry, I'm not going to judge you. Sometimes we all have to let our feelings out.

*As prone as Cagalli sometimes was to crying, she tried her hardest to hold it in around most people... but with Kira she let go, burying her face in his shoulder and letting it out. It was quiet, but given away by the occasional shaking sob.*

*Kira continues to hug her quietly for as long as she needs him too.*

*This takes a few minutes before she lets go and pulls away a little to smile at Kira, her eyes still red.*
