material things making me happy right now.
1) the weight is a gift. it's like, omg. it's like, wonderful. i adore it more than i even expected to. yeah, the lyrics, but never have the lyrics seemed so extraneous. (it's the new nada surf, of course, though if you don't know that already you probably couldn't care less.)
2) "she ain't messin with no broke--broke--" -- the video. what he said. only i'd give it more like an A- than a B. the simplicity of it is so incredible. the off center shots of mr. west on unadulterated color backgrounds, the pin-up mag covers, the devil-costumed child during the "eighteen years" part, the white letterboxing!!
3) new supercute little dresser! in grey-white! in a box on my living room floor! eeee!
