I truly feel bad for Caroline. Being called worthless is one of the worst
things you can ever be told. And I think it brought her self esteem down.
She's so used to being at the top and now she feels like trash.
Matt: No offense Car, but deeps not really your scene.
Caroline: (sighs) So it's true...I'm shallow. I'm worse than shallow, i'm a kiddie pool.
Matt: Your not a kiddie pool. Your not a kiddie pool.
Caroline: Can I just go home?
Matt: Yeah.
Caroline: Okay.
Matt: I'll take you.
Matt: Your gonna be okay?
Caroline: No.....Do you ever feel like theres not a single person in the world

Matt: Life can be a little rough.
Caroline: I wish..
Matt: What?
Caroline: I wish that life was....different.
Matt: Yeah...me too.
I love that they feel the same way. His sister "left" him, Elena dumped him, and his mom is barely there. He's got no one like her. She may have the popularity to keep her secure but it's not enough for her. She wants something more. In this case, she reminds me so much of Brooke. The only difference is that Brooke would keep it in till it gets too the point where it's too much.
Caroline: Please, don't leave me alone.
