Farm Chores!

The dogs do seem to understand that they are really working when doing farm chores and they enjoy it so much more.

You were there yesterday with Jorgen. He is a nice guy, if you ever get the chance to chat. I love being at Fido's by myself, extra peaceful! Be sure and let Chris and Sylvia know that you like doing farm chores, they are more than happy to have others do them. :-)

You are right... the lone herding person was Jorgen. We did speak briefly. Silvia introduced us. How did you know who it was? :)

Yes, I'm hoping to do more farm work. I love it. I always wanted to live on a farm. Goes back to my girlhood days of growing up in gritty, industrial Detroit. And always longing for someplace very distant, preferably on a farm. Well, I did get to move here, so far away from the decaying rust belt, and I get to pretend that I live on a farm on the weekends!

I talked to Jorgen at the herding trial the weekend before and he said he was going to spend the 4th weekend at Fido's. Plus he posted photos of his dogs working at Fido's on his FB over the weekend. :-) His wife Barb competes in agility. Both good people.
