at least this time my son didn't have dreams of me falling over dead.
this time they got me in relatively right away.. where i got lost in the system apparently. they knew i was there.... they just thought i had been moved at some point. the only reason they figured out i was there? an hour after the dr said i was getting some pain meds i called the nurse in tears AGAIN because no one had been by. the dr apologized profusely. that was nice. had one nurse that was ... not nice. three shots and numerous blood tests later, one dinner for me at 2am since i hadn't eaten all day and had a migraine from that and the pain meds... and back home i come. all the labs from both days are clean. the cat scan is clean. they are sending me for ultrasounds of my kidneys and gallbladder at some point. they are still pretty sure it is a stone because i do the "kidney stone shuffle", but i am not so sure. i just know i can't stay still because it hurts so bad. the drugs that let me sleep for a few hours are good... but i can't do this all the time. i just can't. one funny bit, after they finally moved me they put me in an isolation unit. maybe i was contagious or something, where i got lost again as they forgot to tell the nurses. *laughs* darn shift change!
learned two new weird facts about myself. when i come down off of the pain with some drugs i crave weird things (chicken strips, fish&chips, and cake, none of which i have gotten), and two, dilautad (sp) makes me itch like i have a case of poison ivy (but without the hives part). you'd think with all the pain meds and benadryl i would sleep lots. *laughs* only getting a few hours at a time here.
ANYWAY.... i can't sit here any more. just wanted to let you all i was not dead. *smiles* love to all! MUAH just no squeezing the damaged woman. *winks*
