My, my, it would certainly appear that the scientists have some manner of a sense of humour -- or would it be a glimmer of kindness, I wonder? To bring one acquaintances from their home. Well, it would be rather rude to complain when such efforts have been made.

Aah, the scientists, of course ♪ I wonder to what extent they've drawn up the game ( Read more... )

Is that so? I suppose Mister Vincent's word is the word to take on that issue. I'll certainly take his advice to heart.

Oh, certainly they're more interesting but as to perpetuating an end one desires, a little more difficult. One normally plays to win, after all.

I'm merely presenting the truth as I see it. There's no need to dress it up as otherwise~ I'm touched that someone such as yourself would take such an interest in my health, however. The health of an old man is rather mundane.

Does that mean I should be looking forward to whatever actions Mister Vincent decides he should take? You are ever so fond of chess, after all.

How kind of you to say.

Oh, calling it kindness is really too much. It's hardly something I could forget, after all.

Such a healthy respect for time.

Oh, but as we've said; I am but an old man. I have little doubt your memory is something equally as useful.

How admirable.

It's certainly an honour to know that I've made that much of an impression on you. As for myself, I'm quite certain that even if I were to try, I wouldn't be able to forget someone as unique as yourself.

Oh, no, I quite agree. Or rather, I agree that time is quite precious and one should do what they can whilst they have it. One never knows when it's going to run away from them. As for putting it to use, well! One often finds that time does as it wishes and man simply has to do what he can in the meanwhile. But that's rather beside the current point, isn't it? It would seem that we've been presented with a rather inordinate amount of time.

Unforgettable~

Ah, perhaps I should question Mister Vincent's memory after all.

I've heard that once or twice before.
