an update
So...Erin's Graduation was great. Everyone was real happy for her. My dad and Grandparents came into Memphis too. It was really nice. For two days it felt like a real family. My dad even hugged my mom(a big one). Afterwords we all went to Houstons to eat, I sat with Cas and her parents. It was a nice feeling. Cassie's parents are great, when I am with them I feel like I am apart of their family. They rock. Then people headed over to our house for cake and food. People came in shifts and talked forever. I got a feeling from my dad that he had a real good time. Before he came into Memphis I kept feeling that my dad viewed this trip as a responsibility, that he HAD to come. But instead he felt at home. Even though I dont have much family, this weekend I felt that I had a huge family of friends and relatives.
But now all the chaos is over. Things have calmed down. All I have to do this summer is work and relax. I might be a little over worked this summer with early mornings at Gap and Late night weekends at Hard Rock. But I am ready for it!! Oh and ROAD TRIP to New Orleans with Cas! Not to mention Cas will be flying with me to Seattle! SWEET!
Things are good. I hope they stay that way. I am one lucky gal!
