My ex husband's step-father, Larry, who's been like his father since Bryan was a year old, my son's grandfather, has just been diagnoised today with 2 brain tumors, and they are testing him now to see where the rest of the cancer is. They believe that another form of cancer caused the tumors. He's been sleeping for days and is having terrible migraines. He can't function, drive or work. The outlook doesn't look good for him and I am just as upset about this as Bryan. My ex has requested my presence tonight because I was there when his real father died suddenly years ago and I am still very much apart of that family. Bryan and I have both lost our real fathers when we were younger less than a year apart and both of us only have our step-fathers. I love Bryan's parents like my own, and still visit them often now that we're divorced. My heart is just breaking because I've been through 2 brain tumors and 2 brain surgeries with my sister. I know what lies ahead, and it's going to be so hard and devastating. I'm just asking for everyone to keep Larry in your prayers. This family needs them desperately
