starburst...isn't life juicy?
2 weeks into the new quarter...things arent too bad. my beatles frosh seminar is really interesting cuz the professor is cool. thats over on tuesday though and then ill be back to having a really chill schedule instead of 6 hours of class on tuesday and thursday. im glad for this cuz now that the weather is oh so beautiful, theres time to relax at the beach. yayy only last time amy and i went and there was like a physics class there or something. oh well it was still fun singing loud and offkey while "being in the zone" haha.
espanol no esta facil. grr its hard cuz i really dont know much spanish. ppl are telling me that itll come back to me, but the thing is that i never even knew spanish at all. lol i had marshall and i uhh yeah didnt really learn much. so my 3 years of spanish is more like 1 from schubert and thats all. oh well i shall find a way to make all of this makes sense to me. my vocab isnt good and i hafta memorize a bunch of body parts and stuff by wednesday. yuck flashcards dont really work for me so im not gonna waste time making them. anyone have any suggestions?
im so glad that the weather isnt all rainy anymore. its sunny and hot- how i had originally imagined san diego to be when i first got here. now i can tan and get dark woohoo. i miss those bad tanlines that cross country and track would give =( since i run in the gym now those tans are long gone. i miss those girls though! running makes you tell ur life stories to ppl.
today we made more delicious cookies. we ate so much of the cookie dough but saved some room for the actual cookies. oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip cookies. HEAVEN! i gotta say we had some good fun eating the cookie dough and drinking our milk from chargers cups lol. suitmates are so much fun. especially when everyone is procrastinating. at least we do it together and bond. yep.
for psych i hafta be in 3 hours of experiments. its kinda strange but fun. in the first one i had to listen to sentences then answer questions. i would hear "the dog was chased by the boy's father who spoke italian". and then a question would appear on the monitor that asked "who spoke italian?" stuff like that. my friend had to fold origami or something. haha random experiments but all in the name of science.
mmm me gusta mexican food mucho. i had a lot of wonderful nachos and tortilla chips this weekend and was very satisfied. even though i havent had taco bell in awhile, im surviving. its hard but im getting by. ok but tuesday nights are burrito nights so its all good. haha last week i forgot to tell the guy that i wanted cheese on my burrito so i was like "oh wait can you put cheese on it too?" then i turned to amy and said "queso por favor" really loud and they both laughed at me. oh well. it was all in love im sure. or i like to think.
feeling the need to go clubbing. too bad the closest 18 and over club is in oceanside, a good half hour away on wednesday nights. boo that. has to better than the ridiculous line at the forum though. ahhh craziness. hopefully thatll happen soon.
