hello from san diego
yay im in san diego now. i really like ucsd. its big and we've been walking A LOT but i think we've been getting really good exercise. classes start tomorrow so that sucks. these past few days, we've just been doing a lot of welcome activities. theres so much free food so that's cool haha. never ending bbqs and pizza for the college students. yum, havent had to use my dining points yet.
my roommates are really cool. we've been hanging out a lot and doing a lot of stuff togehter. its weird how ive only known them for 4 days, but i feel like we've been friends for years. i had doubts about having a triple room, but there's a lot more space than we thought. i have a top bunk, so i'm glad. ive kinda decorated the room a little. i didnt bring much stuff cuz i didnt know how much room we would have, but im sure i'll accumulate a lot of stuff since im a packrat. i bought a rocky poster at a poster sale on campus. he inspires us to work hard lol. or so we say at least.
so since saturday, we've just been playing games, meeting a lot of new people, and going to lotsa dances. my college didn't have a dance, so we've been "crashing" other college's dances. warren had one last night and we'll be going to revelle's tonight. last night before classes. gotta have some fun. there are numerous frat parties this week its crazy. interesting parties. anyways meeting people is fun.
so im still trying to figure out which clubs and stuff that im going to join. its cool cuz some of my suitemates wanna join a bible study so i wont be alone. we signed up for stuff yesterday and then the different clubs came by and gave us candy and invitations and stuff. really cute. theres a luau on friday night, so im looking forward to that.
so i havent talked much with other college ppl. i know davis is last to start, but i hope everyone else is having a lot of fun. weird how states have been in school for like 2 months already haha. anyways good luck everyone with school. adios!
