hi im updating
wow im so glad its summer!! it feels really good to be lazy again. sleeping in is wonderful. finally got pictures developed. i dont know how to post =( ask me and i'll show you them though in person. watched kill bill tonight.
i just back from la/sd today from my orientation. we left on wednesday night and stopped at my mom's place to sleep, then left for sd on thursday afternoon. even though check-in wasn't till 4:30- 6:30, my cautious father insisted that we leave at noon, so we did. lol there was a little traffic, but we got there in about 2 1/2 hours. then we explored sd until my dad checked into his hotel. i dont understand the weather. its opposite of here: sunny and pretty in the morning, then cloudy in the afternoon. still, the weather is warm so thats nice.
anyways i checked in around 5 and had a bad initial encounter with ucsd students. the way that they assigned dorms was weird, so i explored and found a few girls in a room and asked "hi i just wanted to make sure im in the right place". this one mean girl responded with "WELL does the KEY work?" i said yeah and she was said "well then you're in the right place" all stuck-up and stuff. ooooooook, so i immediately felt really stupid and hated college lol. it was then though that i found out how nice my friends back home are with texts and phone calls <3 thanks!
i started looking around the suite and then some nice ppl called me so i told them my story when my roommate for the weekend walked in. she was soooo nice and then my faith in nice college ppl was restored. for the rest of the time, i didnt meet anymore mean ppl. just the one who happened to be the first person i talked to, lucky me. there was a lot of nor cal pride. i didnt realize that no one in so cal says "hella". funny. they say "gnarly" lol. this one girl was saying something and she said gnarly and i was like "thats hella funny!" hmm really proved how much we do say that word.
the rest of the orientation included boring informative stuff, GREAT food (hello freshman 15!), funny skits by the OLs, an interesting HOE DOWN, super lame dance, and other good stuff. overall i would say that it was a fun experience. just sitting with a big group of ppl and talking about random stuff was a lot of fun. good thing my buddy victor was there, lifelong friends!! we dined together the last day and i ate more than he did haha niiiiiice.

ummm what else...not much i guess. i missed a lot of fun stuff this weekend oh well. la was fun. my mom threw me a little graduation party with the relatives down south. i got to see my cute little cousins again. the hapa one remembers me still even though i never see her. went shopping today bought lotsa good stuff.
i wanna see spiderman 2 and the notebook. hope summer is fun for everyone. byeeeeeee!
