Food...ie my own potato fries recipe

I made fries tonight, they were so good. 
just slice the potatos and then the batter was flour, garlic powder, onion powder, ground pepper,(or use a creole or spice seasoning you prefer) and just enough water to make the batter smooth, kinda close to the consistency of toothpaste. 
Then I put the batter dipped potato slivers into a shallow pan or cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.  perfect crispy hot fries and the best part they are somewhat diet friendly, no oil or salt.  While still not a perfect food they are at least better for me than take out and not as expensive or unhealthy as store bought.  Cause sometimes you just want some fries.  Alternatively they can be deep fried or pan fried but then they will have all that oil on them.

I am starting to enjoy cooking again and that is a marvelous thing.
