fun times on a Saturday night
The Anberlin/Kick show was so much fun. We ran into Ray's little brother and some more kids from Mom's school, which makes me feel like an old grandma, but they are sweet kids. Where the heck was Luke Jones? Somebody told us he was working. Silly boy. Michelle, Carrie, and Joe were all there. Hanging out with Brain and Victor was good. Um, Brian's faces about the dancing queens were killing me. I also liked when he would smile and say "not my girlfriend anymore."
Kendall, Marie, and B'Hibbs were dancing the whole night, and Louis gave us all high fives and free stickers for it. When I say that they were dancing, I don't just mean that they were dancing around and being silly. I mean that they were being over the top wild and crazy screaming and hips swiveling and jumping up and down "did those girls come over from the bar around the corner?" out of control. The rest of us were all amazed. Or a little confused.
We tried to get Shannon to fall in love with CaseyMcBride.com, but she was not having it. I had a really great time telling Morgan who had crushes on who, and then other people would get upset and correct me. The Kick did a nice job of editing their show for a g-rating. I wish they were always that nice and clean.
