Tutorial For homemade Pizza Rolls

In your breadmaker:
1 cup warm water (almost hot)
2 Tablespoons butter
1 egg white
1 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon sugar
3 Cups all purpose flour
1 envelop regular yeast.

(Follow your breadmaker's instructions. Mine is liquids on the bottom and in first.)

Select dough setting... and let it do it's work. Mine takes an hour and a half.

My machine takes an hour and a half to make the dough and let it rise. So, Jack and I went to the grocery store to get some food for this weekend's camping trip and went to Gander Mtn to get some shells and skeet to shoot :P

After the dough is finished, pull it out and put it on a well floured cutting board. Cut into 4 pieces. (try to make as even as possible)

Roll each of the 4 pieces out on well floured surface to about 8x10" maybe it was 9x12, it doesn't matter really. Just roll it out to as close to a rectangle as you can get.

Spread 2 TBS (more if you like sauce, less if you like it more dry) of pizza sauce (I just bought a small jar from the grocery store, or you can make it... whatever... seems like buying the small jar would be easier.)

I didn't buy any mozzerella cheese because I had string cheese (same only in different form) so I used my string cheese and I think I used 1 1/2 or 2 of the string cheese sticks and pulled it apart to spread it out on the sauce. (I have also made this by just dumping a stick of string cheese on it and then baking it and the string cheese stays like that... so trust me if you don't want burnt mouth, peel the string cheese a bit)

then place the desired amount of pepperoni on top. Here you could also add any other variety of toppings like you would put on a pizza.

Using kitchen shears cut the sides as shown:

start by pulling up the ends and tucking them at the sides:

Then braid the top by laying a strip from each side over the top:

Then you have a pizza roll ready to rise again:

I put them on the warm setting on my oven with it open ... check them after 5 minutes and if they start to get crispy turn the oven off. Let rise another 30 minutes.

I just checked on them after about 20ish minutes.

They need to rise a bit more before I am going to bake.

You can just turn your oven on with them in there, bake at 350ºF for about 30 minutes. Until golden brown. I will take a picture when they're done :P

MAN I wish I could take a picture of smell :)
