sick sick sick. Oh well. I'm on the bench anyway cause of the ankle still, so this doesn't change much.
My weekend has been nice-ish considering the pressure that started on top of my chest and has since moved to my forehead. Spend friday deciding what to do. Watched my favorite movie and fell in love with Heath Legder all over again when he sang and danced (if you don't know what i'm talking about, you should be ashamed of yourself). Went to Eli's, played Monopoly, decided I wasn't in the mood to srip, so I left. Enjoyed the wonderfully lazy company at my house until that companion had to leave. Slept.
Hilights of yesterday: Having rob make me chicken noodle soup. Eating pho with claire, suzanne, and aubrey.
Hilight of today: Tahini french toast with yogurt and maple syrup and Maxine and Lauren.
I like that the past two days have revolved around good food. yay.
I was driving home from magnolia today, and I looked up from the road and found myself in an unfamiliar place. I stopped a the red light and had a flash of myself in ___ years in some different place, going to some unspecified appointment, alone, in a car, on a spring afternoon, driving, listening to simple and timeless music. I know it was just a different view of the same skylines I have lived around my entire life, but it was a strange and wonderful moment.
