Mardi Gras!
Happy 2007 to all of you. I can only hope that this one will be better than the last and I have faith that it will.
...and besides my birthday, my favorite part of the new year is Mardi Gras. The season officially started yesterday, Jan.6th (if you celebrate New Orleans tradition.)
I, of course, had to get the new dog all of her little Mardi Gras stuff for the Krewe of Barkus and Meoux Mardi Paws Parade.
Pathetic? Yes. Do I care? No.
I also love the fact that a girl I work with is part of the Krewe of Aquarius, which is a huge Krewe in Galveston. So, this year will be even better than last. Krewe of Aquarius, how fitting is that for me? http://www.krewe-of-aquarius.org/
...and in the spirit, I decorated the Mardi Gras tree yesterday.
...isn't he pretty?
...and pay no mind to my one unpainted wall and the light switches behind the tree with no cover.... even though the wall has been painted for at LEAST 3 weeks now.
