Hmmmm... yup.
So, the softball season is almost over. I'm pretty excited about that. We've only got three more league games, and then we've got districts, and then it's all over and done with! Yes! After that's over, I'll never have to play it again. Wonderful. Then I'll only have school to worry about, and then that'll be over too, and then it will be summer and I will be happy and worry-free. Ish.
My birthday is in 25 days and I still don't know what I want. My mom sent me an email today that if I don't give her a list of possible presents that I would get nothing, so... suggestions? Actually, you know what I would really like? What I would really, really like is for my freaking computer to work. And keep working. For at least more than two weeks consecutively. I would like more memory, a keyboard that works, speakers that produce sound, and the ability to play the Sims 2 to my heart's content. Is that really that much to ask for? I hardly think so.
Is everyone sure that we were actually allowed to work with partners on this last math project? I just want to make sure, since I don't want to get in trouble or lose any points for sharing with Caitlyn. You know? Yeah.
Hmmmm... weird. I am in a weird mood. Maybe it's the Holdon Caulfield talking. I've been reading too much of that lately.
Hey! Speaking of books, I found out the other day that I own four different Jane Austen novels. Isn't that weird? I recently realized that I really do like her books. I read Pride and Prejudice a long time ago, and just recently I read Sense and Sensibility just to make sure that I really did like her style of writing. I wasn't sure, at first, because it's hard stuff. It's difficult to read, especially because of the way they spoke and the vocabulary that I don't know. But it's good, good stuff. Betsy, I'm going to have to require you to re-watch the movie version of S&S because it's WONDERFUL. Did you know that it has Kate Winslet in it? And Alan Rickman, when he was young but still had that beautiful voice? Come on. How can you resist? OH! AND! Hugh Grant. AND! Emma Thompson. Seriously. It's chock full of coolios.
Um... I've done four loads of laundry today. That's rather a lot, isn't it? I am one messy girl. And now, I'm off to read some more.
Yum. =)
