Love Letters
I don't really appreciate the Valentine's Day holiday or any of that stuff that goes along with it. This blog post is not related. But I was reading another blog this weekend that talked about love letters and it made me think about how wonderful love letters are. Not on V-day, but any day. Emails and texts and especially facebook messages just cannot compare. I've been fortunate to receive quite a lot of love letters in my life so far, owing to the fact that most guys I date like to write. I haven't kept any, but they are all in my heart somewhere. I should mention, it is also a pleasure to write someone a love letter. Almost better than to receive one!
It's even more romantic (I think) if you leave one when you're going on a trip or send one while you're away. So my point is that if you have someone around whom you love lots & lots, give them a little love letter. It can even be just a scrap of paper with a little note jotted on it. Trust me, it will make their day!
