Hmm. It's been awhile. Thus I say bolded list, away!

VIETNAMESE FUNERALS are quite interesting. Father Bien of my Parish passed away recently after a long illness. I attended his funeral as he was my First Communion Priest. The church was filled with Vietnamese nuns, choir members, priests, and his general family. At least fifty priests from around the diocese came, and three bishops, including the Catholic Vietnamese community's bishop. The majority of the mass was said in Vietnamese, with only the readings being re-read in English. It's fascinating to attend a mass in another language as you still know what is happening despite not understanding what is being said. I'm a little disappointed though that the Eulogy was not in English, because the priest and half of the clergy began crying during parts. Also, I wish the program was in English so that I could know more about what my priest did in his life. Currently I can only make out city names in the bio. Oh! And is the word "Chua" with the u accented Lord/God?

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAMES are interesting. This kid that everyone calls Kregel stared at me the entire fourth quarter, blew on my neck, and kept playing that stupid shoulder tap game. >.< Argh. Elan played the guilt card, and now I am going to his house today at 4:30 to help him lead a boy's Freshman retreat. I'm supposed to lecture to the boys on RELATIONSHIPS of all things. Good Lord. Why do I agree to this type of stuff? I got to see Andrew, Melissa, and Matt last night which was great as I haven't seen any of them in a while. I never got to talk to Matt, though. I've seen him around the past few weeks and I wonder if he is dating Katie Butler. He must like Katies, that cheeky monkey.

DIGITAL CABLE is teh shite! I use it to tape episodes of the Daily Show. I'm such a dork.

JUNIOR YEAR is proving to be challenging. I believe I have solid Bs in all my classes except US History which is a high A. I <3 History. It's difficult to keep up with the work especially since I procrastinate up the wazoo (Loressa! No comments!) Fortunately Ms. Hay gave me a break on the Precalc homework, and I have this weekend to finish it for a passing grade. My goal is to never fall into the C area at the semester ends.

STUPID SENIORS can't count! For Genetics I was left with a lab group I definitely wouldn't choose. Rachel is great, and I know she'll get the work done if I help her, but the two Senior girls are just twits. The first part of the lab was simplest ever - count the number of different colored corn kernels. Whoa. I never knew it would prove to be so difficult. They continually lost track and began to guess at their numbers. The one ear I let them count alone was twenty kernels off from the expected results!! TWENTY! At most, the ears Rachel and I had a hand in counting, were five off. Then they didn't even understand the simple math I was using to find the expected results. I explained it to them and their response was a stunned "Wow. You're smart." Ahh! This lab is double the points and includes a great amount of independent work. I need this lab grade. They best not screw up anything else. Or else - or else - I'll poke them! >.<

PRESIDENTIAL CLASSROOM, this is my plea, please accept my application! I hope to partake in their 6 day Presidential Inauguration program to see all the inaugural events. I'm excited! I won't know if I'm accepted for another four weeks, but I got the application in a month early. Shoe-in? [crosses fingers]
