Shipping Meme: Day 26 and 27.
SO. I know I'm not late, yet but the thing is... well. Let's make this in the format I've been working on.
Day 26: A pairing that you hated and ended up loving.
NOTHING.
I spent most of the day trying to think of a couple that fit this but I drew nothing. Usually, I ship a 80% of anything shippable. Then there's the ones that I'm 'meh' about, and a tiny percent over - like a 5% - it's the stuff I hate.
But usually if it's something I hate it's because it hits on the squicks or the triggers and those don't really change. I considered using Fay and Kurogane since I don't ship them in canon but I have shipped them in games, but that seemed stretching up a bit, since I don't hate the couple, it's just not my cup of tea.
So. Uh. Yeah.

Sigh, this one does make me sad since they WERE one of my favorites couples.

It's sad because it's no fault of their own, but of their fans. They had the bad fortune of having some of the loudest, most obnoxious, irritating, fanbratty, passive agressive, racist, jerk, mysoginist, weaboo, rape-apologist fans, the kind of irritating fans who'd shit bricks if the order of the 'seme/uke' wasn't properly placed, so I ended up not being able to even hear about the couple since I'd recall the fans and. Yeah.
I'm thinking of rereading Death Note one of these days just to see if I can go back to liking the couple without the added noise.
