GAIUS IS SUCH A DADDY. AND UTHER AS WELL. I. I just love them. Have I mentioned how much I love the fact that Uther isn't simply 'OH EVIL INCARNATED' but that while he is a tirant, he is also doing this because he honestly thinks it's the best? He's scared and flawed but ohgod, how he loves Arthur and Morgana, because he really, really does.
AND GAIUS. Such a daddy being angry and then not and hugging Merlin and wanting to protect him and and and LOVE.
Also, Arthur is a git and a prat and an asshole more often than not, but then he gets to be sweet nd worrying and he can be awesome, yes, especially how he doesn't want to kill and just. Yes.
