Fannish talk
I've not had a proper fannish talk in a while, right? And since the house in front of mine getting almost robbed stole my sleep from me, let's have some of it. And since I'm such a nice, considerate person, it's under cuts.
Star TREK: I think I didn't mention that I did see Star Trek, right? Well, I did! And surprising even me, I... don't feel like writing for it! I DON'T UNDERSTAND, REALLY. Because I did love the movie! But it was in that quiet basking kind of way that didn't really make me want to write lots and lots of things.
Even more surprising! I didn't ship Spock and Kirk? I KNOW. TRUST ME. I think it might be because I remember watching Star Trek back when my mind was pure and innocent, so they really just stuck to me like BFF. I mean, I get why people ship it! I really really get it! But! My brain, it does not go there (it might fear the fact that srgt_s_venom would probably disown me if I broke her brain with this fandom, who knows). And I do ship Spock/Uhara a lot, though :x
Terminator 4: Guys... I kinda loved it a lot. I MEAN. It's not 'good', I wouldn't say. And I hated the romance subplot because it SO wasn't needed. BUT. BUT. DESPITE THAT. I. I KINDA LOVED IT. I love Terminator! And that whole universe, it really fascinates me (in the 'ohshit son' way that 1984 and Momo's Gray Men fascinate me), so, well. I was sold from the beginning.
The Secret of Moonacre: I saw this one because the title sort of pinged me, and by what I read it seemed like my kind of movie, and it sort of was. I mean, it had really cool stuff - the costumes *_* the scenery *_* the house *_* the special effects - and the story, as it was, was kinda neat as well.
But then it also had lots of stuff that made me sigh because, dude, it could have been handled SO much better! And then they added extra Romeo-et-Juliet romance things and, well. I've mentioned my ickyness regarding those, right?
But I don't regret watching it, if anything for the shiny inducing moments.

Sinbad-Legend of the Seven Seas: OKAY THIS ONE ISN'T NEW. But sha_chan hadn't seen it, which was a crime because I knew that if anyone would appreciate that movie the way I do, it'd be her. AND SHE DID. AND WE LOVED IT 'TOGETHER' - aka, through the internet - and I still think it's entirely amazing. I MEAN. ERIS. ERIS. GOD. And Proteus and Sinbad and their 'friendship' (THE MOMENT THEY SHARE SCREEN, THE MOMENT THEY START BEING SHIPPABLE. I MEAN. SERIOUSLY) and then Marina is kickass and ERIS, YES, HI, ERIS, HI, HI.
I want to write so much stuff about this ♥

I. think I'm not following anything new. I mean, one of these days I should probably catch up with FMA: Brotherhood (fujurpreux likes it and that's a 90% chances that I will as well), and then I' still half way my rewatch of KKM.
Persona Trinity Soul: I. I still love this one a lot okay? THE CHARACTERS ARE AWESOME. I would have liked a bit more of insight as well as filling up some of the holes that were left - INUI, I KNOW YOU'RE KEN DX - but all in all, I still love it enough that I'm now thinking about fanfic.
Mostly because I adore Shin and the whole anime was a whole lot of 'LET'S KICK THE PUPPY SOME MORE'. So Shin has been upgraded to my 'GIVE NICE THINGS TO' category.
I also really, really adore that Megumi/Takuro is/was practically canon. YAY for branching out of the 'principal girl/principal boy' shtick! And I still find Jun fascinating.
Pandora Hearts: telrunya IS MEAN WITH ME. Sob I'm up to date with the scanlations and I already started writing fic for it ( here and here), and sob, my pings.
If you're wondering, that means that Vincent kinda raped my rapist-pings a lot. And also, Elliot (HE EVEN HAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE NAMES EVER. UNFAIR) Break and Liam are also sort of trying to ping the hell out of me. And sob I adored Ada, why so cute, why )=
Karneval: HI, THIS ONE ALSO PINGED ME A HELL OF A LOT. AND WHO DO I HAVE TO BLAME FOR THIS? NO-ONE, THAT'S WHO. I PICKED THIS ONE MYSELF DDX sob I want more scanlation. I suck at hunting for translations and the like )=
TRC/Holic: ... as it's going, I just want to be able to say 'I WAS THERE WHEN CLAMP ACTUALLY FINISHED A MANGA'. IDK, really. I'll just give the benefit of doubt and hope I don't end up hating the manga so much that I'll want to drop Sakura and Yuuko at Mansión.

This one will be the shortest one, I think. I need to catch up with Supernatural - I stopped watching for a while, IDK why, but I'll have to catch up with Yumma one of these days. I kinda love Fringe a lot (my everlasting crush on Joshua Jackson has nothing to do with that, I'm sure...), and Yumma and I sort of marathoned half of Doctor Who (... new, I mean): now we just need to see the Donna season and we're up to date.
Yumma kind of loves it a lot, now most of the time when she has to do something she doesn't want to, she says 'EXTERMINATE, EXTERMINATE', and she has started quoting random lines of it to me, as well as adding to her MSN the lines 'WIBBLY-WOBBLY... TIMEY-WIMEY... STUFF.' My baby sister, such a dork ♥
I've also been watching ER's last season, but that's less of a fangirling moment and more a 'Mom and I used to watch it and it's ending, you can damn well bet I'm gonna find out how it ends' thingy.

And I think that's it? I've been sort of focused on my writing, lately, as well as in RL. I think I might need an internet break, but, we'll see.
Is there any anime/manga/tv show/something something you think I should follow/I would like? I usually just watch/read whatever telrunya tells me too, but if you think there's something I should watch/read that I haven't, feel free to tell me!
