YOU KNOW WHY MIRC, MSN, AIM AND THE LIKE ARE NEEDED - other than the fact of OHMYGOD I FEEL EXILED?
Because when you see a post/comment/someone on your FList being A STUPID JACKASS you can go and rant about this with people WITHOUT having to make a post of it ON YOUR LIVEJOURNAL. Because these are the kind of things that bring the wank and make people choose friendships and AT THE SAME TIME I understand the whole 'it's my journal and I can damn post whatever it is that I'd want', at the very same time, right now I'd really really really REALLY like to hit this person with the common sense. Or at least rant about it AT LENGTH with someone who will feel the same as me.
So instead I'll go and read Saiyuki and/or Yu Yu Hakusho and/or a lot other stuff and try to stop feeling this disappointed and angry.
EDIT: Someone made a very immature fannish comment about a very non-fannish SERIOUS thing in something that I knew was going to happen but still, it was annoying. That's all.
