He's fifteen years older than Ozai, and Ozai is his half brother. His mother died when he was around five years old, and for years everyone thought that his father's second wife was barren. He still loved his step mother (and she was a very sweet woman) and he was thrilled at having a younger brother.
His wife died a little after Lu Ten was born. Lu Ten was born almost four weeks before he was due, as it tends to happen with future Firebenders.
He was best friends with the older children of Avatar Rokku.
I'm still not too certain about this, but I think he might have fallen in love with a Waterbender when he was younger. What's true is that he was head over heels for Ursa, quite possibly unrequited and very much a secret, thanks.
Paaaart of me would love to say that Zuko is his son, but he isn't. Well. He isn't in the blood-relations way. And if he is, he has no idea whatsoever.
Mytho is a hundred years - give or take a few - by the time Fakir finds him. He's been roaming through the land as he was when he was Siegfried, unaging.
Fakir teaches himself who to be according to what Mytho needs and who could protect Mytho and during the nights he curls himself tight behind Mytho's back: kisses his neck sometimes or just holds him close, his back to the windows so that Mytho doesn't see the outside world, so that Mytho doesn't think he have to remember, so that no creature can come and steal him away.

You know, the thing about Mytho´s age come as a big shock to me when I was watching. Still not sure I got over it. :)
Anyway, Fakir deciding to be what he thinks Mytho need makes so much sense. It´s exactly the kind of thing he would do.

I'm curious to see what two similar prompts might come up with :)
