Kureha hasn't been afraid of thunder and lightning since she was six years old, but every time she sees the way Mashiro acts near Sou - stammering and glaring and blushing and acting so... so weak - she remembers how it felt, a mix of anger and a mix of hate and so much despair.
It's hard to firebend like this -- moonlight shining upon them, blue and huge upon the sky -- but Aang ducks as Zuko sends a fireball his way, catches the tail of the fire to send it back again and he doesn't quite care.
