(no subject)
So tonight is my first night that I don't have anything major going on. I plan on heading to bed sort of early to catch up on the sleep that I haven't been getting.
So Friday...I had to sing the star spangled banner :x I did HORRIBLE because they gave me like 2 hours notice and I was so nervous. Everyone said I did fine, but I know I screwed it up because my parents taped it! Oh well, I don't care. I'll just redeem myself at the spirit show. So yeah...I conducted the half time show and I think I did a great job. The band came in dragging the tempo, so that messed me up once...but other than that, I did fantastic (even though some people that decided to quit and not even try out for Drum Major were criticizing me). I got a lot of compliments on it. I've already memorized the first score.
Saturday I got up early and went to the school...had band from 9-5 and that was good. We got some more drill on the field, thank goodness. I'm sunburned like crazy though because it was overcast and I didn't put any sunscreen on. I left practice at exactly 5 and went to work...I was looking rough. I left work at about 7:45 and came home and got decent and then I went to the Durham Bulls game to help with Student Council...but I got lost on the way there. I was trying to call someone to walk me from my car to the stadium when I got there because Durham is such a bad town and I was scared, but they decided they didn't want to answer their phone when I called...so I walked all the way to the stadium by myself at 9:30 at night in downtown Durham. My feelings were very hurt. Yep, thanks a lot. So by the time I got there, there was nothing for me to do. Ohhhh well...I still had fun anyway. The fireworks were very cool. I left there pretty late and Justin Bobal had to show me the way home haha I stopped at Wendy's and then on the way home I talked to Josh :) then I FINALLY went to sleep.
I slept til 10 this morning and then got up to go to Asheboro interviews. We had a lot of no-shows, but oh well. I left there at 5:30ish and went to Wal-Mart and then I went to Robert's and saw Robert, Drew, and Matt. I miss those guys so much. It sucks being so busy, I never get to see my friends. I left there and went to Allie's and then I came home to eat and here I am! My mom cleaned my room for me and did my laundry for me :D That's how busy I am. Oh well, next weekend is my weekend off. Friday I plan on going to the guys' football game at Cedar Ridge to show some support...then Saturday I don't have anything until work at 5:30. Then Sunday I don't have anything that I know of...except that I need to do my summer project. So we'll see what happens. I'd like to be able to go out with someone sometime next weekend or Friday if I don't go to the game. We'll see.
