so my daughter turns 1 in less than a month
James and I have a great chance at getting our first house
matchbox twenty is out with a new album and going on tour
life is good
just gotta figure out if I want to do nano wrimo or not
also, finally finished Sklya's book, River, which was quite good and I hope there's a sequel
work related - meh, it's work. I'm no longer stoked about going in anymore, I go, I'm doing good stuff, but I'm not excited like I was before I got the promotion. I'm not doing new things, helping sick birds... I'm dealing with volunteers and drama, and paperwork, and checking charts and trying to better our mews which ultimately it's all for the birds, but it's more removed... and I knew it would be this way, and it sucks just like I thought it would
I don't hate it
it's more money, better hours, but seems less fulfilling
I highly suspect in a year, maybe two, I'll have a different job, I can't see doing this job indefinitely and that makes me sad
I should get back to work on Katrina and do what I've been dreading
oh, and kitten Pollux is sick, I think... vets doing lots of tests to figure it out, so I'm confident that he'll get better. He has to.
btw, BOOO Las Vegas - love love LOVE the show, however, the have a new character on the show and her name is Piper. BOOOO HISSS - that's MY baby's name
