so for the last 5 years I've had a Capital One card with a limit of $500, that's it, that's all. They've never increased it. The interest has never gone up or down, I've made all my payments on time and often multiple times a month in excess of the minimum requirements, but still only $500.
Obviously, for the last little while, I've not been happy at ALL. I have a decent credit score, making more money and am never late. I totally deserve more credit. GGRrrRr
So I called to yell at CO 2 months ago to get an increase and I was informed it's not available on my card. MORE GRRRRR
So I called again tonight to yell and explain my frustrations and basically say I'll leave if something doesn't change. Give me a new card or a higher limit or I'm done.
My credit limit went to $3000!!
Sure, that's not a LOT of money for many people, but that's 5X more than I had before!! Holy mackeral, I'm happy now.
