Student Council is donating $1,000 to the Red Cross to help out with the hurricane stuff. Plus--look for more fundraising to come. I spent a significant amount of time last night watching CNN and all of the destruction...my heart aches. And the National Guard just got down there today to maintain order.
It kinds of reminds me of Lord of the Flies (haha Tim) when savagery takes over...it's really really scary. Shootings, looting, death...i'm praying, and that's all I can do.
My wallet was stolen by a middle schooler. That sucks. But I'm getting my money back...and hopefully my wallet if she tells someone where she put it.
Bill and I were being nostalgic in AP Euro when Dr. Trotter was talking about Florence/Renaissance Art (like The Accademia in the Vatican)
I spent 1 1/2 hours at the BMV getting a replacment liscence because mine was stolen with my wallet. I worked at Schiller, went to the Book Loft (pretty much my favorite place in Columbus)and said goodbye to Jen--it was really hard. Jen has been there for me since freshman year and she's been such a great friend. I really will miss her a lot. She's been the hardest one that has left for college to say goodbye to.
I also have to say goodbye to my parents living together. My mom's moving into an apartment tomorrow and they're going to be rotating who lives there. I guess it's good for my brother and I--we don't have to pack every week.
Bill: this is adding to our gloriousness. Jen took this picture in black and white and it's gorgeous. This is a fountain in Villa D'Este, an estate of an archbishop in southern Italy.
