Head, meet wall.
So, I get this email today from the Graduate Admissions Coordinator saying:
"Welcome to Brandeis University. This notice is a reminder that we have not yet received your final official transcript from your undergraduate institution. Your final transcript must be received before you register for classes in the fall."
Yeah.
This is almost as cool as the time they spent $0.87 mailing me stuff from Kutz to Usdan. (For those of you who don't go to Brandeis: Kutz and Usdan are buildings. They are about 20 feet apart.)
The undergrad and graduate programs should....ya know...talk....
I emailed back:
"Brandeis is my undergraduate institution.
Do I need to speak with academic services, or can you contact them directly?"
Not knowing me personally, she will probably not hear the droll way in which I said "Brandeis is my undergraduate institution"
Oh well. All who know me well can hear it, can't ya? Yeah, that's right.
In other news: still buried in work, but not feeling *quite* as overwhelmed as Monday night. The many birthday wishes I have received over the past couple days has brightened up life considerably! Thanks to everyone who sent wishes in any form.
Birthday was good. Went to the Cape with Sarah, Saul, and Mel and we had a really good time. Played mini-golf and then went to the Hyannis Sam Diegos and I got SMASHED. It was pretty great.
