(no subject)
So I'm planning on digging up my dancing shoes for this event:
I haven't been to a "massive" since the late 90's - early 2K so it's kind of exciting....if it REALLY IS a "massive". My jaded raver side tells me it's not going to be. The main headlining DJ's are off the hook though. Tommie Sunshine, DJ Micro, X-Dream and Hellfire Machina.
If you can't tell, other than going to an occasional small party or weekly that a mutual friend of a producer throws, I've pretty much dropped out of the rave scene because I miss the old scene, the crowd, the vibes & music circa 1996-2004 (04? Is that really when it died for me? LMAO) but I'm feeling nostalgic, so I want to dress up and dance til' dawn and I'm thinking GLOW might do it for me. Plus this will be my first time seeing the classic, Tommie Sunshine spin. And my good friend Carlos aka ODI is spinning as well. I can never get enough of ODI's drum & bass. Oh, and my urban explorer side comes out because the party is being held in a historic trolley repair station! I'm such a geek.
My best friend from High school, Anita, whom I used to skip classes with in order to ride a train to NYC for Raves (one of which was called Alphabet Soup which I will never forget) will be in CT for Thanksgiving so I'm pretty sure she will be going to GLOW with me. If all works out, Thanksgiving EVE will be one for the books.

For the past 2 years you've come together with us as we transvered the light spectrum; we have glowed in red green white as well as in 3d and in the dark. we have come together and our light has shone brightly through the night. Welcome to the ELECTRIC WAREHOUSE, a beautiful 10,000 sq ft converted trolley repair station in the heart of Brooklyn. In the early 1900's trolleys ran all across the 5 boroughs delivering a fast easy rapid transport across the city. This space has been beautifully preserved to capture the excitement and detail of those early days in Transit and New York History.
This WILL be the largest "GLOW" to date for any of you that checked out MONSTER MASH you know what you are in store for @ this Stunning 1000 person cap warehouse!
