Don Delillo haunts me at Goodwill, EVERYTIME. This is a wonderful haunting but for the life of me, I do not understand why anyone would give away Don DeLillo books. I bought Cosmopolis for $1.99. Now I think I have all of DeLillo's books. I also bought Shopgirl by Steve Martin just because I absolutely adored the movie.
Saturday night, I saw Zombieland with Lisa which I thoroughly enjoyed. I've always had a weird crush on Woody Harrelson as far back as Cheers and Natural Born killers go. Before Zombieland, Lisa and I went to Ruby Tuesday's for appetizers and beer. After Zombieland we went to Coldstone for Cake batter and cotton candy ice cream combined. Sounds grossly sweet but it's delicious! We also got caught in a downpour. That's always fun except when it's cold which it was so I was whining, running across the parking lot, holding my handbag above my head while all the change in said handbag fell to the pavement. Needless to say that change stayed in the parking lot. I love girl-dates.
I'm contemplating my trip to Waverly Hills Sanitarium. Reservations can't be made until January 2010 but when I call I'm hoping to get a reservation for a tour somewhere between the end of February beginning of April. I'm purchasing the overnight tour/ghost investigation package which is $100. If anyone is interested in joining me ghost hunter style, down south, let me know. I was also thinking about exploring/hiking in the Smokey Mountains.
