Today I looked at my outfit when I got home and could not work out WHAT made me think it was going to work...
It might have been because I spent most of last night (and early morning) on my cold bathroom floor with my head thrust in the toilet as my guts thrust themselves into the toilet.
Hence, I didn't sleep... I hadn't drunk or eaten anything... and I had to be gone by 7:00am in the morning.
But I've been finding this recently, since I've been attending college in the city 4 days a week... I have nothing practical. It is only my fault as for the last few years of my life I have always bought things specifically because I wanted it for 'that night' or a party. Aside from various jeans and tshirts (which I am no longer so comfortable in) my wardrobe seems to lack things I can just 'pull on'. Perhaps I find it easier in winter... I can't wait to haul out the stockings, boots and jackets again. I have never operated well in summer.
My question is... how can you encourage yourself once you get somewhere and realise what you are wearing does not make sense?
I had given up by the time I arrived at college. Sitting through 6 hours of class left me pretty much defeated.
I need to go shopping. Again. Sigh.
What a pointless blog!
