HICK UP~

oh buddy! I woke up at one, it was nice to sleep in. Then I went to ms. Sarah Thomas's to spend time with her,her family, and Chris Ellis. I watched Willard, that movie made me giggled and gave me a fear of rats. We ate, it was a great Southern thanksgiving, which was nice compared to my Yankee thanksgiving experiences. They had 3 dishes of sweet potato pie! wow! I ate to much Sweet Potato pie it gave me the hick-ups! Those Zany Thomas's also had 3 types of Cranberrys:
My Public Service Announcement:
Cranberry's are meant to be eaten with the turkey.
My whole life I have been polite and took a little bit of every thing for thanksgiving. I hated Crannberries, I would take them to be nice slurp down a bit and then spread it all over my plate to make it look like I ate them, I never knew why people got cranberries I just thought that it was the thing to do.That having a red cylinder placed in a crystal dish with lettuce has been passed down for generations. Until at the Thomas's when I was trying her fathers creation of cranberries and horseraddish, to be brave. I take a spoon full and take it like a shot. Sarah gave me a strange look, I didnt quite understand cranberries, then I saw people eating the cranberries with the turkey! I had no clue thats what the bitter gelatinous goo was for! I tried the turkey with the cranberries, and it worked the dryness of the turkey was gone and it was yummy! I laughed at how naive I was and how I suffered eating cranberries plain for 17 thanksgivings in my life. I went on to my families Yankee thanksgiving I couldnt eat, I saw the blob of cranberries I told them what they are used for and they just rolled their eyes and continued to eat their dry turkey, oh well. Life is funny, who would have thought that crannberries also have a place in the life of Allie. I love you ~ Allie
