(no subject)
Finally moved in. Apartment is in an old complex, so things are creaky, squeaky and the toilet needs a certain type of touch to properly flush. But other than that, I am very happy. Bored, but happy.
Wound up adopting a different cat on Sat. I pick her up tomorrow after work. 8 mo., black and white, medium haired female with yellow/green eyes. Very affectionate and practically threw herself against the cage. I hope we get along well. I've dropped about $150 on supplies already - who knew all this shit was that expensive?
I'm hesitant about giving her a definite name - her name was "Maggie" at the shelter, but I don't think it really suits her (plus I have a weird thing about giving cats "human" names) As of now, I'm considering "Naveed," "Cassidy," "Ruby," or "Pastaface." Guess which one Adam suggested.
