Relay For Life is my Life
For those of you who have wondered where I've gone, it's because all of my nights last week were devoted to Relay For Life... I was giving informational sessions to all of the residence halls. When not doing that, I was recruiting other people to do Relay.
In the mean time, I have just started my own fundraising for my Relay team... So far, I have raised $70 for the American Cancer Society! (Yay!) Aunt Kate and Matt have sponsored me so far. Also, my mom and dad said they will pledge $50, and my Aunt Linda promised $10. Soon, I will have raised $130! My goal is $200.00, but I really want to exceed that. I'm getting really excited to see that the Relay I'm helping to plan has made so much progress so far!
If any of you (S.U. friends, that is) want to form a team, let me know. You could even join MY team! It's the Krusty Krab Kancer Krusaders... Jellyfishing for a Cure! (Yep, a Spongebob Squarepants theme.) F-U-N!
