Relay For Life
So my latest project has been Relay For Life. It's an American Cancer Society fundraiser in which participants form teams, collect sponsors, and then celebrate at the actual Relay event. At least one member of each team is walking around the track during this 18-hour event. It's going to be so much fun, with live bands, entertainment, food, and information. There will be a beautiful ceremony to celebrate cancer survivors, and to honor those who have lost their battle to cancer.
I've been a part of the Relay For Life planning committee since last semester, and I've been putting a lot of work into it! I am the Team Recruitment chairperson. I'm also the team captain of my own team. (We have a Spongebob theme!)
