Clearly the answer is, my Gilligan's Island DVDs. Just think what useful things I would learn from watching that on a desert island. How to make a hut, how to make a coconut cream pie, how to NOT get off the island...
Of course, I would also need to take an Elvis movie, a Marilyn Monroe movie, and maybe some Lois & Clark. Here. I will round out my list (for all intents and purposes, I think a season counts as "1"):
1.) Gilligan's Island (Season 1); shows you how to cope with being stranded
2.) Clambake; features Elvis, and demonstrates how to enjoy beach life
3.) Some Like It Hot; features Marilyn, and is my favorite movie of all time
4.) Lois & Clark (Season 1); features many amazing rescues which would be inspiring while stranded
5.) Gilligan's Island (Season 2) or Lois & Clark (Season 2); it's a toss-up, but I think TV series offers more bang for your buck because there are lots of episodes (making them better than adding an additional Marilyn or Elvis movie)!
