Yesterday I did RUNNING for the first time!! Susan and I ran (and also walked intermittently) around Prospect Park. w00t! I have been wanting to try running, and I think I'm going to follow the c25k (Couch to 5K) plan so I can get a bit better at the whole thing. I think I am lacking stamina. I am sure that I will get better with time and practice

I have not had a problem with shin splints before (thank goodness -- owie!!). I think the breathing is the hardest part for me! I think I'll try to get used to it.
