wtf? that is one HUGE spider
so im sitting in the office, minding my own business. i heard little noises, but ignored them thinking they were the water pipes in our heater. then as they got louder and more frequent, i realized that our heater is not on, and that the sound was more scratching than knocking. i walked over to the heater to investigate, and realized whatever was causing the noise was in fact alive and bigger than anything i wanted to see. my first fear is a spider of some kind or other icky bug. there was a poster board laying next to the heater, which then started moving. a lot. i just about died until i saw a glimpse of fur. sugarglider got loose? ferret? no, it was a mole. as in wild animal in my house. and it was a fast son of a bitch. we caught it with a net and released it to the wild. i now think that sugar brought it inside yesterda when we left the window open for her. last night she was acting really strange, trying to squeeze behind a bookshelf in here, but i thought she was insane so i locked her out of the room. a mole. freaked the hell out of me. kinda cute though. until it started chewing a hole in the net that is.
