ooc: i'll be online aaaaall night finishing this paper/replying haha, TELL ME
Aurora smirked and looked over at her window, where an owl with a package quite a bit larger than she expected, was hovering. She ran over and let the cute thing in. She took the package and the letter off of it's leg, and offered it a small treat before it went on it's way. She quickly closed the window, shivering a bit. She forgot how fuggin cold it had gotten.
She quickly opened the letter, and her smile turned into a slightly skeptical look. Next, she opened the black book and flipped through it quickly. She laughed lightly and scratched her head. With finals and everything, she wasn't sure she could get it all done.. but, well, didn't seem to have a choice anymore.
Aurora shrugged, she didn't really have any work that had to get done in that moment, so she started making some of the arrangements.
An hour or so later, she sent a letter back to Allie.
No, I need my locket as soon as physically possible. Very important.
Cliodna is suitable, but I'll live.
You can pull from those dresses when you pick them up. Don't pick a pastel, it'll look terrible on you. When you find one you like, send it to Julian. He's finishing the bead work on mine.
When Aurora received the second letter, she was just starting an essay about the practical uses of Episkey, and was happy for the distraction.
She quietly read the letter out loud to herself as she made her way across the room to grab her jacket. Aurora was out the door as she finished the last line.
For most things, she had a terrible memory, and usually resulted to getting to them right away.
In nearly no time, a general post owl arrived at Allie's with a package attached.
[ Owl to Allie ] Allie,
Here's your locket, hope it got to you alright.
And I was sort of hoping you'd help me pick out one, but I guess I can manage. I hope, haha.
With a sigh, Allie rolled her eyes at the parchment. She picked up her wand, and with a flick her locket was up in the air and fastening itself around her neck while Allie herself scribbled down a note.
With another swish of her wand, Allie's closet doors sprang open. And out came a beautiful black and white dress. It was from the first shipment of dresses she'd sent out to be pressed, and she'd nearly forgotten it until Aurora had mentioned her help.
Opening a drawer from her desk, Allie reached in, elbow deep in the charmed drawer before she pulled out a classically simple, pink gift box that was already filled with tissue paper. The dress folded itself, laying nicely inside the box, and the tissue paper wrapped around it. A lid shut over the top, and a pale pink ribbon snaked around the box to tie in a pretty bow on the top. She shrunk the box, and tied it and the note to the leg of her owl, shooing it out the window.
